In a profession dominated by men, Jessica is one of few successful women tennis professionals in the area. As varsity head coach of Detroit Country Day’s Girl’s tennis team, Jessica led the girls to the finals of the MHSAA Div 3 State Finals. She had been with the program for since 2010. Jessica began coaching at a young age and has already developed several top 50 nationally ranked players and has sent players to top 25 tennis colleges on scholarship.
Jessica’s personal accomplishments in the world of tennis are impressive. Jessica competed for the University of Iowa for four years earning Big Ten All Academic honors all four years majoring in Finance and minoring in Sports Studies. She had a very successful collegiate career reaching top 10 in the NCAA in doubles and top 5 in the Region in singles. As a junior, she was ranked as high as top 10 in the Midwest and top 40 in the country in singles. She has played tennis since the age of three and has competed nationally since the age of 10.
