Three consecutive days of tennis training. Classes for all junior levels. The holiday break is a great time to improve your tennis skills! Class sizes are limited.

Play as much or as little as you want in this 2-hour Pickleball Open Play. Open play pickleball is a drop-in, social way to play. Bring your paddle and jump in! Players are grouped by skill level to keep games fair and fun, no partner needed. If you do not have a DUPR rating and do not know your level, please contact Coleen at coleen@wessenitc.com or call 248-253-9300.

• Players place their paddles in the rack to indicate “got next” for a court.
• Winners stay on their court for up to 2 games. (Winners can stay longer if there are no more than 2 people waiting to play the next game)
• Come with a partner or pair up with someone on-site. Mix and Match if you’d like.
• Games are to 11, win by 2.
• Staff on site will check players in and help facilitate an enjoyable experience for everyone.
• Balls provided. Paddles are available to rent for $5.

RAINY DAY POLICY
Everything you need to know about rain-outs.

The first rain-day is built in to the class fee. THERE IS NO MAKEUP CLASS FOR THE FIRST RAIN-OUT. Any subsequent classes missed due to rain will be made-up. Makeup classes are communicated via email. **Please be patient as it takes time to secure the courts and pros for a makeup class.** If the coach is able to get in at least 1/2 of the class before it rains, we will not make up the class.

We communicate delays and cancellations via Twitter AND Facebook. You can follow us on X (formerly Twitter) x.com/WessenITC or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/wessenitc. If you do not subscribe to either, you can check the Facebook feed on the homepage of our website www.wessenitc.com. Scroll to the bottom of the home page to see the Facebook feed. If you do not see a Tweet or Facebook Post with a cancellation, then a decision has not been made to cancel. We try to get the classes in if possible, and we do not cancel based on weather forecasts. PLEASE DO NOT CALL. It is impossible to answer hundreds of weather-related calls, and the desk staff will not know what is happening at the outdoor sites.

• If it is raining at your house, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is raining at the courts.
• If you think the class may be canceled, check the website Facebook post to see if we have canceled or postponed classes.
• If you do not see a post, then the class has not been canceled.
• We make a decision at least 30 minutes prior to class – so check right before you leave home.
• We do not proactively cancel based on weather predictions. We wait to see the actual weather at the time of your class.
• DO NOT CALL THE CLUB ABOUT RAIN-OUTS.
• We will contact you via email with the makeup date. It might be a few days before we have it figured out. Please be patient.

MAKEUP POLICY – SUMMER PROGRAMS
For students who miss a class due to unforseen circumstances

• Students are eligible for one makeup class per 4-week session.
• Makeup classes are self-scheduled on our website. Go to wessenitc.com/request-a-makeup to schedule a makeup. The desk staff cannot schedule a makeup for you.
• Please read the makeup policy on the “makeup page” before scheduling your makeup class. It will tell you everything you need to know.
• NOTE: Makeup classes will not be available until the second week of every session. We do not know where there is room during the first week, as registrations are still taking place.
• If you know you are going to miss a class, please let us know! You can schedule your makeup class before you miss the class. This allows us to open your spot up for someone else to use as a makeup opportunity.
• If you miss your makeup, or fail to reschedule within the 48 hour window, you lose your opportunity for the makeup. Do not ask for a special exception.

Jay’s Jams – Tuesday 8:30-10:00 AM: All Levels* ages 18+ A fast moving cardio clinic with high energy music. A minimum 2.5 USTA rating or equivalent level of play is required.

THURSDAY
Jay’s Jams – Thursday 8:30-10:00 AM: All Levels* ages 18+ A fast moving cardio clinic with high energy music. A minimum 2.5 USTA rating or equivalent level of play is required.

SATURDAY
Organized Practice – Saturday 9:30-11:00 AM: Practice for both MEN and WOMEN with doubles drills and supervised play. Focus is on strokes, game strategy and success in USTA league play. Players are organized on court by level. Saturday 9:30-11:00 AM

SUNDAY
Rock ‘N’ Roll Tennis – Sunday 10:30a-12:00 PM: A fast moving clinic with challenging live-ball attack-and-defend drills to Rock ‘N’ Roll music. 3.5-4.0 is the suggested rating for this clinic. A minimum strong 3.0 rating or equivalent level is required.
