Pickleball Ladders

Ladders are an opportunity to meet new players and practice your pickleball skills in a friendly, competitive environment. Our ladders and beginner round robin are coed, so both men and women are welome to join. In our ladders, players are grouped by level and move up or down the ladder based on weekly results. Please make sure to register for the ladder that corresponds with your DUPR rating. If you do not have a DUPR rating and are unsure of your level, please contact our Pickleball Coordinator, Coleen Giniel, at 248-253-9300 or coleen@wessenitc.com.

Wessen pickleball ladders and the beginner round robin are separated into consecutive 6-week sessions. Membership is required. Tennis members have complimentary pickleball privileges. Separate pickleball-only memberships are available for $20 per year. Please contact the front desk to sign up for a pickleball membership.

BEGINNER ROUND ROBIN

BEGINNER ROUND ROBIN [0.0-2.4 DUPR]: A CO-ED round robin for beginner level players. This is an opportunity to meet new players and practice your pickleball skills. This weekly round robin is for beginner level players who want a friendly environment to practice pickleball skills, meet new players, and enjoy the game of pickleball. Players will rotate to have a chance to play with all players. ADV-BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE LADDER

ADV-BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE LADDER [2.5-3.25 DUPR]: A CO-ED ladder that covers a range of levels, from Advanced Beginner to Intermediate, using all 12 pickleball courts. Please be sure that you are within the 2.5-3.25 DUPR level requirement. If you do not have a DUPR rating, or are unsure of your level, please contact our Pickleball Coordinator, Coleen Giniel, at coleen@wessenitc.com or call 258-253-9300.

  • Adv-Beginner/Intermediate Ladder 2.5-3.25 DUPR: Monday 12:30-2:00 PM

INTERMEDIATE LADDER

INTERMEDIATE LADDER [2.8-3.25 DUPR]: A CO-ED ladder for intermediate players. This weekly ladder league is for intermediate level players that are comfortable with the game (both men and women.) Friendly competition with players at your level. Please be sure that your DUPR falls within the 2.8-3.25 range. If you are new to Wessen and do not have a rating, please contact our Pickleball Coordinator at coleen@wessenitc.com or call 248-253-9300.

  • Intermediate Ladder 2.8-3.25 DUPR: Tuesday 12:00-1:30 PM and/or Thursday 2:00-3:30 PM

    ADVANCED LADDER [3.3-4.25+ DUPR]: A CO-ED ladder for advanced level players. Here’s your opportunity to meet experienced players and test your skills with weekly competition. This league is for seasoned, advanced players (both men and women,) who know their way around the court. Please be sure that your DUPR rating falls within 3.3-4.25+.
