UTR VERIFIED MATCH PLAY

Camp students can use one visit for match play in lieu of the fee. For those who do not want to use their package of visits, the fee is $34 (please see details at the bottom of the page.) The start times below indicate the earliest the matches will be scheduled. First-round matches may begin later than the times indicated below, depending on the number of participants.

  – Tuesday 12:00 PM
  – Thursday 12:00 PM
  – *Friday 3:00 PM
  (*If a camper attends both Tuesday and Thursday match play in one week, he/she can attend Friday match play at no additional cost (must be within the same week.)

HOW TO REGISTER FOR MATCH PLAY:

Summer Camp students register for match play online at the UTR website. Campers can use one visit to regiser.  Online registration is free for campers, however, it is necessary to register as outlined below:

1. Players who have a UTR Power Subscription can register FREE at any time – no special link is required. We will internally charge players one visit for each event.
2. Players who DO NOT HAVE a UTR Power Subscription must request a special link (sent via email to info@wessenitc.com) to register online for FREE.
   • The deadline to request the link is 12:00 pm, two days prior to the event. We send out email reminders every Friday with information on the deadlines.
   • Tuesday Match Play: Deadline to request the link is 12:00 pm on Sunday.
   • Thursday Match Play: Deadline to request the link is 12:00 pm on Tuesday.
   • Friday Match Play: Deadline to request the link is 3:00 pm on Wednesday.
   • Campers who do not want to use a visit, and non-power subscribers who miss the “special link” deadline, can still sign up for match play, provided that online registration has not ended. There will, however, be a $12.50 registration fee from Universal Tennis. We cannot override this fee.
3. All match play results count toward the players’ VERIFIED UTR rating. This is a great opportunity to improve match play results AND boost a player’s rating over the course of the summer!
