RAINY DAY POLICY
Everything you need to know about rain-outs.

The first rain-day is built in to the class fee. THERE IS NO MAKEUP CLASS FOR THE FIRST RAIN-OUT. Any subsequent classes missed due to rain will be made-up. Makeup classes are communicated via email. **Please be patient as it takes time to secure the courts and pros for a makeup class.** If the coach is able to get in at least 1/2 of the class before it rains, we will not make up the class.

We communicate delays and cancellations via Twitter AND Facebook. You can follow us on X (formerly Twitter) x.com/WessenITC or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/wessenitc. If you do not subscribe to either, you can check the Facebook feed on the homepage of our website www.wessenitc.com. Scroll to the bottom of the home page to see the Facebook feed. If you do not see a Tweet or Facebook Post with a cancellation, then a decision has not been made to cancel. We try to get the classes in if possible, and we do not cancel based on weather forecasts. PLEASE DO NOT CALL. It is impossible to answer hundreds of weather-related calls, and the desk staff will not know what is happening at the outdoor sites.

• If it is raining at your house, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is raining at the courts.
• If you think the class may be canceled, check the website Facebook post to see if we have canceled or postponed classes.
• If you do not see a post, then the class has not been canceled.
• We make a decision at least 30 minutes prior to class – so check right before you leave home.
• We do not proactively cancel based on weather predictions. We wait to see the actual weather at the time of your class.
• DO NOT CALL THE CLUB ABOUT RAIN-OUTS.
• We will contact you via email with the makeup date. It might be a few days before we have it figured out. Please be patient.

MAKEUP POLICY – SUMMER PROGRAMS
For students who miss a class due to unforseen circumstances

• Students are eligible for one makeup class per 4-week session.
• Makeup classes are self-scheduled on our website. Go to wessenitc.com/request-a-makeup to schedule a makeup. The desk staff cannot schedule a makeup for you.
• Please read the makeup policy on the “makeup page” before scheduling your makeup class. It will tell you everything you need to know.
• NOTE: Makeup classes will not be available until the second week of every session. We do not know where there is room during the first week, as registrations are still taking place.
• If you know you are going to miss a class, please let us know! You can schedule your makeup class before you miss the class. This allows us to open your spot up for someone else to use as a makeup opportunity.
• If you miss your makeup, or fail to reschedule within the 48 hour window, you lose your opportunity for the makeup. Do not ask for a special exception.
