UTR TEAM TENNIS – KICK-OFF EVENT!

WHO: Top Flight Academy, High School Varsity and Junior Excellence students.
WHERE: Wessen Indoor Tennis Club
INFO: Come to learn more about UTR Team Tennis and get details on how to register for a team. Players can bring their racquets for complimentary organized play. Parent meeting to cover the information for the upcoming season. Pizza for all!
UTR Team Tennis – Youth League Overview
- Top Flight Academy, High School Training and Junior Excellence level players.
- Nine-week season with playoffs: FALL SEASON: OCT 21-DEC 18.
- The schedule is published in October – teams take turns playing on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
- Players give their availability in advance, and coaches schedule players based on their availability.
- Players that want more matches can play-in when teams need extra players – there will be plenty of opportunities for those who want to additional play!
- Matches are at Wessen Indoor Tennis Club.
- Matches are time-based – total time commitment is 2 hours.
- All scores count towards Verified UTR ratings. This is a great way for Top Flight Academy players to achieve and improve the UTR rating requirement!
- Team are co-ed with 8-12 players per team, and players are matched up with opponents at their same level.
- End of season Playoffs with trophies for the winning teams.
Player Cost:
- Costs involved:
- UTR Power Subscribers (* and Wessen students) – One-time fee of $38 to register for Fall Season
- Non-Power Subscribers (and non-Wessen students) – $50 to register for the Fall Season
- *Wessen students receive the discounted fee of $38 if they are currently enrolled in a class at Wessen. Players must request a special link to register at the reduced rate.
- $20 per event played (includes 2 matches per player for each event)
- Paid at the front desk each time the player competes in a match.
